Ummmm... aren't the crossing gates up?

Good eye, Jason. Yes, the crossing gates at Cataract Ave. are up in the photo. The train was dropping rail immediately west of here - and they decided to disable the gates and post flagmen as the gates would have been down and ringing for a very long time.
