Congrats on the PotW! A well deserved reward for a gorgeous photot. I had a strong feeling this (or one of yours) would get it. Nice work uploaded, Jason!

Thanks to those who made this pic PoTW, and thank you to everyone who congratulated me and sent kind comments either via the comments above or via email. I was pleasantly surprised that this pic made PoTW, but I have to admit that of all the pictures I took in 2006, this one was my own personal favourite.

I knew this was going to be the PotW even when it was in que. Congrats! I'm also making it a PCA vote ;)

Beautiful photo (even if the steam engine is out of site). Great rich color, beautiful landscape and a blue sky.

What a wonderful photograph! Congrats on the PotW! It's certainly deserving! It's simply an all-round perfect photograph!

Excellent. I particularly like the way you hid the 'kettle'! I've nothing against steam, but 'top and tailed' trains are difficult compositionally as the two locos tend to compete for attention. I also admire your resolve in not going for the 'down' shot - you're either a committed modern traction man or someone who likes to plough his own furrow!

Great picture. I remember this spot from a trip we took a few years ago from Bath to Penzance. I thought it was an awesome setting then.
