Very interesting shot. I really like the composition as there are a lot of things in this shot to attract the viewers attention. As for the door, my guess is that for some reason, they had to replace the original. Odd as that loco is not old. Either that or someone had a little time on their hands.

The lack of an "X" on the door leads me to belive it was replaced. Anyway, great shot! I like the low angle, and the road bridge and signal bridges add a lot of interest.

The engine struck a semi truck in Westfield, MA back in October. The door was bent so it was replaced. Here is a photo of the accident http://amsphotography.fotopic.net/p35565756.html
