It was amazing that EMD was able to get this historical locomotive set together for their big party, but it's a shame the duo is no longer displayed together. The restoration was beautiful, even though La Grange's painters had some problems maintaining a consistant width of the wide yellow band on the cab unit.

I remember that day as if it was yesterday. Such a shame that the erecting bay is gone and loco production is no more in LaGrange. Thanks for posting the photo, it brings back many very pleasant memories when I was there for the open house with my brothers.
