Since this photo was taken, the Byesville Scenic Railway has been shut down. Jerry Jacobson of Ohio Central Railroad fame, bought the rail line the BSRY operated on and then filed a "Cease and Desist Operations" order on the railroad. I have since come to find out that Jerry sold the line to an organization out of Zanesville, Ohio with the legal stipulation of the sale being that the new owners or future owners of the line should they sell it, not allow the BSRY to operate on the line either. I don't know what the BSRY folks did to make Mr. Jacobson so upset that he bought the line and shut them down, but I wouldn't want him mad at me! As far as the equipment goes, it now sits in Byesville, Ohio getting vandalized I hear!
