Fascinating shot - I haven't ever seen hump operations outside of North America before. Looks like it will be a while before they use that window air-conditioning unit again.

Very interesting picture. I seem to remember a friend, who was Superintendent of the modern SP hump yard at West Colton in the 1980's, visiting the huge hump near Beijing and finding that they humped more cars in an hour than he did in a day, or something to that effect. And the Chinese learned it from the Russians.
