Great one. Gets my PCA vote

Wow- this picture just oozes pure power. That's heeluva piece of glass on your camera!. Chris, UK.

That is a great photo. The smoke and the angle of the grade emphasizes the struggle the train is enduring.
Very nice image. I always liked that night shot with the meet at the signal bridge-152778-but this is just as powerful an image.

Great composition, lighting, and use of telephoto lens. You can feel the struggle against gravity!
Incredible work. Just incredible. I can hear that locomotive through the photo.
Really cool image Chris. Really thinking outside of the norm
Great shot! That thing must have been down on its knees for most of the climb.
Absolutely top notch creative railway photography. Who needs wedgies?
Wow - Chris, this is so far out of the box that you must need a flight to get back home.
Exceptionally visionary (again). Congrats on a well earned PC!
Sweet recollection of mountain steam days, in a way.
Excellent shot Chris. To me, this defines Appalachian coal hauling,

WoW
I Love This Photo !

Excellent shot, Chris! It's so perfect, in so many ways. The darkness of it, the steep incline, and the power. What an incredible scene! 20 out of 10!
Superbe!!
Great feeling of anticipation; showing only the top half of the locomotive really heightens the tension.
