I must say this is the best picture I've seen so far, great composition, the silhouette of the train on the bridge and the fog over the lake make this a picture worth looking at over and over again.

Great timing, rob. Very moody scene and it works great in b/w.

The B&W is a very nice touch. Is that digital or film?

Thank you all for the comments! I have to say that this is one of my best works in the 20 years that I have been photographing trains. Friends and fellow photographers such as W H Massie, B M Stitcher, B A Harrison, and J B Lockhard push me to look for those new angles that are becomming harder and harder to find. The image was shot with a Cannon 30D using the 28-105mm F4 that came with the camera.

As Mike said, this is definitely a picture worth a second, or even third look!

Congratulations on PCA and POTW. The fog and reflection really make the shot.

I don't think I can say much more than what has already been said but, I definitely agree with the WOW's this photo has received. I think you captured a very dramatic and punctuate scene here especially with it being in Black & White. Beautiful work :)
