While this is an interesting study it's own right, exposing D&S 365's main generator and turbocharger, but my eye was drawn to the left background of the picture. That Baldwin has a "wing" painted along the top of the hood, and what appears to be a diamond, peeking through the stacked wheels perched on that flat car. So it seems that the Durham & Southern bought itself a retired Erie Baldwin roadswitcher, most likely for parts.
