I am always interested in the similarities and differences between US railroads and railroads in the rest of the world. This yard looks like many of the large freight yards you could find in the US, except for few very real differences. There are the obvious differences like the rolling stock and the whole yard being under wire. But the big difference for me, and the one difference I couldn't ignore, is the double slip switch leading to the derelict yard track in the foreground - something that definitely says you aren't in Kansas anymore.
