What an awesome photo! I live right on the Hudson in Poughkeepsie and I look at that view (minus the train) everyday. I've always wondered what it looked like back in the day when trains were running across it. It's a shame they never reopened it to rail traffic after the fire. I look forward to the day I can walk across it!

Nice shot John. I never saw a train on the bridge, but remember seeing the article ih the very first "Railfan" in 1974 about the L & HR. I still have that issue in my collection, having bought it at a now closed hobby shop in Mechanicsburg, PA.
