Looks worse than the tracks behind my house, and those are ex-SP! Jeez, has to feel good on the engineers back.

Great photo, Sam. It really puts into perspective how terrible those tracks are. What a bumpy ride it must be.

A photographic representation one of the those MOW mantras of modern railroading: It'll hold 'til its sold!

And I went to go ahead and think a section of track in Manitowoc, WI was bad after 5 years of no use. Well, I guess I was wrong so I am going to go ahead and congradulate you on such a great shot of the reality of tracks not so well maintained.

That looks terrible, even for a spur. I wonder how the engine can stay on a track like that.

WOW, incredible shot and amazing tracks.

I thought the tracks in Adelaide, Australia were bad! Did this train make its way to the final destination without derailing?
|
And I thought CSX had bad track!

Looks like the track that used to run from Rantoul, Illinois to Leroy, Il. I lived across the street from this line we all called the Pumpkin Vine.
