You chose a lens that was particularly appropriate for this location, not too long a telephoto lens. As a result, the massive bridge is particularly well rendered and the train is not too much compressed. Good shot!

In 1947 a runaway happened on this bridge. A southbound was doubling the hill to Judah and when they went to couple onto their caboose the knuckles boxed and it ran away down 7 miles of 2%+ grade. It entered the bridge, which carried a road as well at the time, at approximately 45 MPH, scattering pedestrians onto the railings and narrowly missing a taxi at the other end. It then traveled 2 miles up the other side, stopped, and started to roll back down again. The Peace River station agent had seen everything, and was waiting for it before the bridge. By now the engine had backed down the hill, and since no one was hurt, the sheepish train crew decided a cover-up was in order. This lasted for a few months until the Northern Alberta's president arrived for a dinner with the town council, during which someone congratulated him on this fine piece of railroading. Having never heard about it before, he started an investigation but fortunately the only punishment was demerits all around.
