I was happy to read in the remarks of this photo that the interchange in Hoosick Jct has been opened up and at least one train is using the line between North Hoosick and North Bennington. In 2002 we rehabbed several bridges on this line in preparation for Amtrak service that never materialized. With welded rail and recently rehabbed bridges, it was sad to think the line was destined for nothing more than car storage.

Fabulous shot....I've railfanned the "Conn River" a few times but have never seen this spot. Now it's on my list of places to see next time I make it "home" to New England. Thanks for posting Ryan.

There are not very many places where one can find an active 19th century stone viaduct in active use. This one is in pretty good shape.
