Posted by Donald Haskel on September 6, 2008  I had forgotten how filthy Lowell used to be. Fortunately the area receives better maintenance now under the MBTA. The center window blackout was to stop people like railfans from standing and enjoying the trip. Glad you spotted that Marty.
