Wow, I didn't realize that the frames on these units sagged even when they were nearly new. I thought it had gradually occurred over time. I still like them though. They're neat looking engines.

I'm certain that flex of the frame can't be good for the prime mover. Flex took out a lot of the V20s in the SD45s. I've never been a bog fan of GE engines, this is just more ammunition. Looks nice, but that's about it IMHO.

All you GE haters are right, these things suck. They are incredibly slow to load, you can't see out the back, the handbrake is inside the engine room, they smoke like hell and break down regularly, and the uncomfortable desktop control stand is inside a deafening dance floor of a cab that despite all the space has no spot for the engineer to put his feet up. They are by far the worst power that CN currently has.
