I remember those old P.A.T. street-cars when I was kid living up in Pittsburgh. (Castle Shannon). 1970-74. I can still hear the "Clickety Clackety Clank! Doug- Bristol,VA

I know where that is! The trolley is coming off Lincoln Avenue where it meets Frankstown Avenue. Thank you for sharing!

This photo brings back memories from a different time. Esso is now Exxon. And Coca Cola is still Coca Cola. Wonderful shot.

Beautiful ,What is also nice in this photo is the price of gas.

I can imagine the taste of a hot grilled cheese sandwich and a chocolate malt at the soda bar in that drug store. Great old capture and a great choice for POTW !!!

Great shot Frank. Every now and then in my travels around the city I find a few yards of track exposed along a poorly maintained road and it always makes me curious what this little empire once looked like. The shots you've uploaded over the past couple months have been absolutely fascinating for a history buff such as myself.

Super to see a trolley shot make Photo of the Week! Congratulations Frank, and thanks for sharing this!

Ordinarily I'm not a big trolley fan, especially PCCs, but this is a little historic microcosm with the store the cars the prices. Outstanding.

This shot just oozes nostalgia and it's a good photo too!

Some may not realize that those gas prices were 29 cents per gallon. Not 1.29 or 2.29 !!!!!! Shot brings back many memories.
