I remember those old P.A.T. street-cars when I was kid living up in Pittsburgh. (Castle Shannon). 1970-74. I can still hear the "Clickety Clackety Clank! Doug- Bristol,VA

This photo brings back memories from a different time. Esso is now Exxon. And Coca Cola is still Coca Cola. Wonderful shot.

I can imagine the taste of a hot grilled cheese sandwich and a chocolate malt at the soda bar in that drug store. Great old capture and a great choice for POTW !!!

Great shot Frank. Every now and then in my travels around the city I find a few yards of track exposed along a poorly maintained road and it always makes me curious what this little empire once looked like. The shots you've uploaded over the past couple months have been absolutely fascinating for a history buff such as myself.

Ordinarily I'm not a big trolley fan, especially PCCs, but this is a little historic microcosm with the store the cars the prices. Outstanding.

Some may not realize that those gas prices were 29 cents per gallon. Not 1.29 or 2.29 !!!!!! Shot brings back many memories.
