Now that is one heck of a location for a station - its like Dawlish on steroids.
Is this section of line still open, or is it one of those thats been bypassed further inland ?

The Cinque Terre is a series of 5 villages along the Mediterranean coast that are accessible (almost) only by train or by boat. The line is the main line from Genova to La Spezia and it is still open as shown on the picture.
