A check of Penn Central's East/West Timetable dated 6/29/1969 makes it seem probable that this is the westbound PC #25 "The Duquesne" an all coach train which ran daily from NYP to Pittsburgh, usually with a significant number of headend cars. The first car appears to be in the Missouri Pacific "single white stripe" paint scheme and may have been forwarded west of Pittsburg on #31, "Spirit of St Louis which left Pittsburgh later in evening. Thanks for sharing this nostalgic shot.
