That is fantastic news! I photographed this loco in the San Francisco Bay Area in December 2007. Truly a locomotive worthy of preservation.

Got to run this rare bird on the point of a Kansas City to Northtown freight about ten years ago. Good to see she'll be saved. Perhaps she will team up with the "Hustle Muscle" SD45 some day.
