But, without a pilot on it, the bathtub look is a tiny bit better looking. It certainly is different. Posted by Dave Redmann on July 1, 2009  I much prefer it without the streamlining. In fact, I'd love to see Norfolk Southern (in the US) bring Norfolk & Western 611 back for excursion service, but put together as a class J-1 (wartime, non-streamlined) locomotive.
