The whine from the AC traction motors on the Ferromex unit must have been loud at that speed. Great shot!

It better not be going nearly 80mph. Not only is the maximum speed for intermodal trains 70mph, but the top speed of a Dash 9 is 70mph.

Awesome pace shot and great subjects! Two pretty RR paint schemes that just right as applied on a wide cab GE locomotive. Too bad BNSF completely missed the boat on their now 3,300+ roster of orange painted wide cab GE's in the H1, H2 or the Swoosh scheme... (sigh).
