A surreal capture - superb! Congrats on the CRRP Gold winner- but, this is RP - you'll have to try harder for an SC! LOL.

Just beautiful! You've captured the morning perfectly. One of those "wish we were there pictures", thanks!

Thanks for the comments everyone and Mitch I could care less about the SC, thats not why I posted the photo here.
|
Keith - Very nice photo and well composed too! The scenery is fabulous. Good job.
|
Absolutely incredible shot Keith...I'm surprised you didn't get a Screener's Choice for this one.

I had seen this photo published with last year's contest winners, but looking at it on the screen is even better. This scene captures the mood of the Appalachians better than any I've seen in a long time (well, in many a frosty morning...).

Wow! This is simply amazing! I think this deserves an SC, and I don't know why it isn't. I hope it gets a PCA.

Keith, I was blown away when I first saw this shot in R&R and grows on you like a beautiful painting. A true work of art from you! Glad you're posting on this forum.

This is one of the best fall "Morning" mood shots here- glad you posted it Keith!-Valentine

You have great eye for placing the train in the scene. Fantastic image!
|
One nice thing about RP compared to CRPA is this venue for leaving comments and congratulations. The composition with the slanted line leading to the train, and the textures of the frost, and the balance with the tree are outstanding.

One of my all time favorites!
