The first 3 coaches ( with the rounded roof corners) look like de-powered / rebuilt Budd RDC cars. Can anybody confirm that ?

That is correct! These are former RDC coaches that eventually were in commuter service on Caltrain before Grand Canyon acquired them. I believe they acquired 14 of these coaches.
