Hi, I'm Neil Place, I'm now 63 and retired the year being 2014 at present. Yeah, we weren't prevented from going shirtless back then. Later when CP took over, the oppressive rules began and the fun times were over! So was the production rate of the 70's. Fun times and a great ride for those that stayed long enough to make retirement. This site brings back many memories as I worked on the engines pictured, and personally know the people shown. I am also in the one showing thw lower Yard office and all the engines taken from the bridge.Actually it's not Richards crossing as that is lined up with the center of the old yard office, which is gone now.
