Is that unit setting on a 'derail switch' (lined for its reverse move)...? It looks like a 'normally lined' direction would put it in the woods..

I believe that is a wheel chock the locomotive is sitting on.

I think so too Frank. But I was referring to the actual rails that are under the loco - on the left side going to ? no place?.
