Are there any railroads serving Duluth and Superior besides BNSF, UP, and CN? Does the port handle any commodities besides coal and iron ore?

Many, Many different commodities. Love the picture! We used to load there at the SMET dock all the time. Brings back lots of memories.

The twin Ports are served by BNSF, CP(SOO), CN, and UP. Iron ore, coal, grain are the major commodities. RP member Dave Schauer has a wonderfully informative blog on Twin Ports Rail.
