Both dramatic and beautiful. Thanks for sharing Mitch.

Wow Mitch! This looks like a model train in a department store display. Might I also add that the lighting really adds to the appeal of this picture.
That just looks cold.

How many Alien Bees would it take to light up all of the skyline buildings? A future assignment for Lerro Productions might be in the making here!
Terrific idea Mitch. I am glad you didn't pack up when the sun went down. Ain't digital grand?
Hmm, daytime or nighttime? Mitch, you make it a difficult choice! Except, of course, now I can enjoy both.
I am not worthy! Really well done, sir.

Beautiful, Mitch!

That's an excellent composure, looks outstanding. PCA for me.

First, SUPERB photo - then a quick look at the schedules makes it probable that this is #97, the Silver Meteor , looks like the last 3 cars are a heritage Dining Car and 2 Viewliner sleepers.
Beautiful image Mitch.
Just beautiful! Could it be the Crescent? It's the right consist - baggage, 4 coaches, lounge, diner and 2 sleepers. And, it's supposed to depart Phila roughly 5:30 PM.
Just stunning. I love the caption.
Mitch - congratulations on this being the current Amtrak Timetable cover!
PS - I'm glad you didn't get a poor lighting/cloudy day rejection.
I'm with Matt, CONGRATULATIONS on making the Amtrak Winter System Schedule ! NICE to KNOW that SOMEONE at AMTK apparently spends time at RP.com
