Nice shot, good job.

If the United States members of Congress ever got their act together on the importance of "High Speed Commuter Rail" like this. Just think how many construction jobs would be created to help the economy, and how much fuel would be saved by the resulting system. A system like this, running on it's own rails between major cities, could replace many commuter air routes saving time and jet fuel as well as reducing private automobile miles per year. Our Congressmen are supposed to serve the people and make things better for them, but they continue knuckle under to Big Oil, Big Air Lines, Big Auto Manufacturers, Big Tire Makers and others that help fill their individual "War Chests" at election time. These men are more interested in "Power" than the "People" who elect them. Will they ever wake up ? Is it time to clean house in Congress ? I think it is !

I couldn't agree with Mr Caywood's comment more. Nice photo by the way.

Great work of them for building high-speed tracks, great work for you, too, dear photographer! What`s the speed that they intend to travel on that line?

The track section Orense-Santiago is part of the high speed corridor between Madrid and the northwest of the country. Criteria for construction of the line are for 350 km per hour, although the first commercial trains that will operate in this line will be hybrid (electric and diesel) units that have their top speed at 250 km/h. Thanks a lot. Greetings.
