it appears to be a full trainmaster gehind it denoted by the double cooling fans

The H16-66 were unusual. They ha two cooling fans on 1 side and only 1 on the other. It was a cost savings measure since only the H24-66 Trainmasters required the 4 fan cooling. The Milwaukee Road did not purchase any H24-66 Trainmasters so all FM 6 axle power had to be H16-66's. The only remaining example is on built by the Canadian license CLC an is Nelson BC. Would love to have seen 1 in operation. I grew up in Beloit WI where they were built. My father actually worked for Fairbanks Morse. I have been told they were beasts when it came to tractive effort easily out pulling any of their competitors equivalent locomotives of the time.
