Woah!...the brakeman is standing on the leaf spring of the F-unit, rather than the bottom rung of the step. Even for 1975 standards, that was a safety violation. Nice shot, though (and check out the edge of the motor car on the right).

There is a picture in Clinchfield Country of a brakeman standing on the leaf spring of a Precision Leasing F unit too. Must have been a popular thing to do back then.
