Back in the early 1980s I was fortunate to be invited along for a cab ride with a very friendly WVN crew, who were happy to have some company. These folks seemed to both enjoy and take pride in ( note shine on the bell) their work. I recall it was a gray, drizzly, day, much as you have captured here.

Dynamic brakes. With the grades on the WVN, they probably came in handy.
