The smoke and steam, plus the light reflecting onto the near side of the locomotive, adds lots texture and detail, so that this image becomes much more than just the silhouette of a train against a beautiful sunset. Also, I like that each wheel under the 844 creates a shadow in the locomotive's own steam. A stunning capture, Drew!

Great exposure--I love that this one is NOT a silhouette. The glossy flanks of the locomotive and tenders add richness to the shot. Very cool!
