Wyatt... Congrats on your first SC that evolved into POTW! Indeed, your photo is worthy of both. Your excellent photo is thought provoking for me. When I view the headstone for John and Mary Caylor, it awakens my imagination of their life together in northwestern Ohio, which I'm sure was anything but easy. Imagine their joys and their sorrows; their trials and their triumphs. If they were born in the area, the Hires Cemetery was probably already there, but the B&O main line was not. John and Mary both saw the coming of the "Iron Horse" and by the time John passed away in 1943, the double track B&O main was non-stop busy with wartime freight and passenger traffic. A photo may be worth a thousand words, but your photo is worth an entire lifetime...
