Man, that joker is slab-sided. Ones with three B trucks have always caught my eye. Would be interesting to see the engineering on the mount for that center truck.

F. S. Wood In answer to your question, I believe the center trucks do not rotate on thier axis, but rather, they are on sliders that allow the wheels to move right or left. I may be wrong so don't quote me on this.

Sliding side to side sounds like a necessity in thinking about how curve track would be off-centerline relative to loco frame at that point. Yeah, it would be neat to see how they make that happen.
