Surprised you guys are still making these things. They produce so little electricity that they are a waste of time. We only erect these things on rich peoples land in Britain so they collect the massive subsidies these things attract. We have an amazing government system in this country whereby everyone subsidises these turbines by an enhanced unit price for their electricity. This is in the region of 10% . As a result there are many low income families who are having real difficulty paying their electricity bills, whilst the rich are being given a huge revenue just for allowing them to be built on their land. Unbelievable !!!

One wind turbine- a novelty. Three hundred wind turbines- an eyesore. Every power generation scheme has its drawbacks- choose your poison.

The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Nice train picture.

Chris, Colorado past a state law requiring electric utilities to provide a certain percentage of their electricity by renewable means. My employer goes so far as to offer customers the option of buying energy produced solely by wind. Vestas has built three plants in this state over the last 3-4 years, somebody seems to be buying them on this side of the world, however it seems a bit like your home land with massive government subsidies really being the motivating factor.
