Great perspective on what it's like to work deep in a rail yard at night, Anthony. Good job by the conductor to hold relatively still for the duration of the exposure; I've tried shots like that before and they're very difficult to pull off.

Thank you for the comment! I have been playing with this idea for awhile. I thought it would be a rather simple shot. Boy, was I wrong. As an added difficulty that's me...I used a remote (behind the "switch lists") and bulb mode to get the exposure. I never realized how much I move just standing still. Thanks again!

This is an incredible shot. I'm really impressed by the work and forethought you put into making this happen. Excellent job in a challenging circumstance as well as including yourself to add a sense of scale is...wonderful. Congratulations.

Nice shot there, Anthony! I worked for a number of years at a bulk facility...that angle of the covered hopper bays is quite familiar to me. Your photo brings back a lot of memories!
