Neat vantage point!

In as much as all the contributed photos of the Heritage Unit celebration are wonderful, this one should take top honors! Unlike the ground-level shots that show only the noses of most units and the sides of the N&W and SOU locomotives, this great aerial photo captures the entire group better than any I've seen. It is a riot of color and railroad history! The payoff is well worth the effort to get a shot from above. Excellent work, Brad; PC vote from me!!

Very well done roundhouse overview, with superb lighting!

Wow. Can't believe the screeners accepted this with all the foreground clutter! Just kidding of course. Great shot, Brad. It is a great demonstration of what that event was all about.

Beautiful shot and what timing. Notice the group in front of the NS unit with the solo photographer taking their photo with no one in the way. Is that the portrait staged for Trains Magazine with all the people from NS and the museum that made this incredible event possible? I wish I could have been there. Enough can't be said to the NS Railroad for honoring these former railroad lines and then taking the time and effort to share each release with a company photo the way that they did. What a class act NS. Bravo.

Incredible. It's an amazing story of how 20 different railroads over time morphed into the present day Norfolk Southern. What a proud history, and thank you NS for sharing it.

Great shot Brad.

Nice shot Brad, looks like a model. Could've been taken at 'Roadside America'.
