I BELIEVE the State of Maryland is to be thanked for providing most, if not all ofthe funding to repair this bridge after it was weakend by flood damage quite a number of years ago. This was a PRR line for most of its life providing service terminating in Frederick with a direct connection to the B&O via several blocks of street running.
