I love this photo first the GP40-2 is the one Athearn choose to model, second the PB/ steam generator car still has its original trucks. Later they would be replaced with emd four axle trucks. Thanks for sharing it is a lovely picture.

Expletives or otherwise, this is a timeless scene, and a rare consist for the RGZ. Not only that, but we'll never see scenes like this repeated again. Thanks for sharing--your extensive portfolio of Rio Grande action is mind-boggling!

After a long hike in, we caught this same consist on the same day at Utaline in Ruby Canyon. My camera locked up but Jenny caught 'em. You get what you get. They don't look so bad these days!
