Is this the "parts" engine or is it simply out of service?

From what I can tell it is simply out of service. I snapped a photo of it two years ago in the same spot. From this side it does not look as if the doors have been opened to remove parts. As you can tell in the yard shot of Docheno, if they are stripping a motor down they do not seem to close the side doors.
