A lovely image and a brave one too! Convention would have the scene captured using either a medium to long telephoto and certainly nothing wider than a standard lens. You broke the rules and came out a winner. Top marks!

Superb!!!. The Britannia class were always my favourite class of loco. Everything looks in proportion on these locos. Lot of interesting features in this pic. The exhaust, steam blowing off, great backdrop of Aisgill,nice blue sky... but the thing i really like is the dry stone wall. Sets a nice parallel line with the train.Only shame is the Southern region green coach ..just stands out too much ...and would never have been hauled by a Britannia anyway . Nevertheless a great shot. Congratulations !!
