Great shot and look back. I doubt if a lot of the younger viewers understand what a Jim Crow car is and the social/historical significance of one in a shot like this.

It is so weird looking at oldies like this before the trackside flora exploded from our current carbon dioxide economy.

Thanks for posting. I believe the location on the map should be to the west of Hwy 41. Today there is a huge industrial park to the left of the tracks, Cobb International. Very little, if any, direct rail service survives in the park today. Probably plenty of rail hauled containers find their way there though. I lived within a par 5 distance of this location to the right of the tracks from '87-'99 however I could not see the trains due to the lay of the land.
