Why the ____ would someone stop a bus on the tracks? Ever?? Putting that aside, I really do like the look and feel of this image. Such great mood, sharpness and clarity. Kudos for sharing the EXIF info - I guess you like to continually challenge yourself vrs a preference of coveting success. That speaks volumes. I most certainly will have to re-visit ISO 1600 - thanks!

The bus just paused on the tracks for traffic as Highway 52 is directly along the tracks. It stopped at the church where the car is now and is headed to its stop on 52 out of frame to the right.

Great photo with great scenery! Seeing this picture allowed me to remember an incident that happened on the Georgia & Tennessee border some years back.

The train clearly isnt moving. No lights on the locomotive are on, nd the crosing gates arent activated either.

Stopping a school bus on the tracks is stupid and against the law in most places. I just can't believe this maneuver. I realize that the train has stopped-- but what if the train would not be able to stop. The next bus driver might not be so aware. I am just shocked at this and the situation gives me the creeps. Anyway-- good shot on your part and thank you.
