It was certainly a beautiful day when this picture was taken. Thanks to NS, I took the first trip to St. Peters, MO (as a non-employee) and back that day. Also, as far as the Google story is concerned, the Fort Wayne RR in conjunction with NS has a pretty nifty GPS tracker system for all to use to keep track of the 765’s location during the trip season. There is an App you can download.

I wonder if Google timed it's street view capture to coincide with the steam special, or if it was just a coincidence? And when the capture will be online?

When we discovered he was still around, we invited the driver to follow the "road" down through the yard to get the two side by side, albeit briefly.
