Nice shot, but a bit of a mystery. What's happening with the big power on iffy track?

Happens every day, twice a day. This is Pan Am's "Worcester Main" running from Worcester MA to Ayer MA. This train "POSE" (Portland ME, to Selkirk NY) and counterpart (SEPO) keep the CSX power for the whole trip over Pan Am. The GP is unusual, usually just the big power on this train. They have done some work here in the past couple of years, but not much.

The setting is amazing-- and pretty. I am so glad you cleared up the "mystery." I was wondering also. Thank you.
