By George, I like it. I am gratified that there seems to be a realization on the part of the community that sometimes a bad weather shot can be great.

Thanks so much, Sid. Some of my most memorable shots weren't in the most favorable conditions by any means. The fact that heritage units are seldom here also made this a neat experience.

I absolutely concur with the above comments about "low sunlight etc. being the only medium for an outstanding picture. Details lost in sunlight that show here, atmosphere, feeling, and more are so much more a part of an amazing railroad photo than what is so typically rejected. Absolutely wonderful addition to the library here, excellent job:)

I love the scene!!! Real railroading weather! The S&A looks right at home in Georgia.

Concur, great job. Look at the grade for those cars; this does NOT look like an easy switch. As for the Commerce branch, our beloved family Nebelung cat was running wild with her brothers and sisters when she was found as a kitten on the streets of Lula, GA, the south side of which has the wye off the NS Washington, D.C./Atlanta main to the feed mills of the Commerce branch.

Thanks so much to everyone for the kind comments. Kurt, there must be something about cats in Lula. It seems every time I'm there lately, there are cats hanging around the depot!
