Have liked Deltics ever since learning of them in 1980s. Maybe someday will get to UK to see and hear one.

They are an impressive machine to see and hear in action, on preserved lines they tend to only operate on one engine, still nice to hear, but high speed mainline running on both engines is what they were built for and the best way to enjoy the Deltic experience
