Perfect advertisement for the train.

Thanks for the compliments, folks! It was a treat to ride the ex-Northern Pacific mainline through Clark Fork, Mullan Pass & the Missouri River Canyon at Lombard and also, for about 75 miles between Missoula and Garrison, to run in sight of the old Milwaukee Road right-of-way. Before it stopped running, it was about the only way one could ride in modern times the Montana portion of the old 'North Coast Limited' / 'North Coast Hiawatha' route, with the exception that the train bypassed the out-of-service Homestake Pass & instead ran over Mullan Pass. Best Regards, Pete
