I thought the stack trains were 22k and 23k?

Hey Colin, yes, 22K and 23K are strictly intermodal trains, but 206 and 205--though they're primarily auto trains--carry intermodal as well. Also, I believe I took this photo shortly after they split MOAY/AYMO into the 4 new trains, so they were still working out the kinks and it's very possible that 206 on this day had a higher number of stacks than they do now.

Ohhh alright, because the past two times i have seen 205 there hasn't been one single stack car. Nice photo by the way! I wish this was accessible now, but i imagine it is incredibly grown in.
Been trying to find out when Pan Am freights run, i go out around 8:00 and there isn't anything until the window from 12:00 to 2:30 when 22k makes its appearance. I used to count on the Pan Am as my safe haven to get away from wide cabs and "Gevos" and all that stuff, but now im in a bind where for the past few months virtually the only train ive seen is 22k,any information on freights would be much appreciated, missing my SD40-2s

Thanks Colin! And you're right, this spot is currently grown-in, but perhaps next Winter and early Spring it will open up again. I haven't spent much time on the West End lately, but from what I understand the continued work on the Hudson River Bridge may be limiting daylight activity. "Ferry Street" (CPF464) / Hemstreet Park being available for meets has traditionally allowed a higher volume of trains to run on the New York side of the railroad, but with that currently unavailable it's limiting capacity, I think. I feel your pain with the lack of SD40-2s!
